On Saturday, August 12, 2023 we held our annual Project HERO Back to School Event at Robert M. Pyles STEM Academy. Over 200 students received uniforms, backpacks, books, school supplies and more thanks to our generous partners the Assistance League of Anaheim, Haskett Library, Sparkpoint, Boys and Girls Club and Karina's Backpack Project! The Project HERO team has appointments over the next few weeks to distribute these items to over 100 more students that were unable to attend the event. It was wonderful to have at the event many high school student volunteers who were in the Project HERO program when they attended Magnolia School District. It was a great success!
